I have a C-420, a CF-7, an RS-1 and a steel LV caboose available for lease at reasonable cost, with the understanding that the preservation and use of this equipment is a very important consideration. The two larger units are on roller bearings and in UMLER. Serious inquiries from established operators only, please. |

The RS-1 might be going to a good home soon, and I'm hoping to have some news on the LV caboose this week. The C-420 and CF-7 are still both available. They need work, mostly windows and cosmetic things; such work will be taken in account in negotiating a long-term lease. I'm trying to avoid the type of offer I got for the CF-7 several months ago. Someone wanted to buy it for parts; the 567-BC for one of his units, the trucks for another. Sorry, but I'm a preservationist- |
