Is this the UK's National Railway Museum in 1963? If so, does someone have a similar shot from today?

The York Motive Power Depot that became the NRM originally had 2 turntables. The second table was removed in the 1980s during the major renovation that replaced the roof. I don't know which table this is if in fact it is the NRM's roundhouse.

It IS the same building. The NRM was opened in 1975 using the same double roundhouse and most of the yard of the former York motive power depot which closed to steam in June 1967.
Because "concrete cancer" was found in the roof the building was re-roofed a few years ago. At this time one turntable was removed.
Prior to the rebuilding one could still easily recall its service days. Locomotives allocated to York (50A depot code) included K1 and standard class 3 2-6-0's seen in the picture. Other locos stationed at York included ex LNER A1 and A2 pacifics, V2 2-6-2's,B1 and B16 4-6-0's, WD 2-8-0's and many former North Eastern Railway locos - some dating back to the nineteenth century were still there in 1960.
Since the rebuilding it is more difficult to recapture the days of steam operation.
