Just out of curiosity... Anyone know the where abouts of J. David Conrad, author of the 2 volume "The Steam Locomotive Directory of North America?" I don't think I've ever seen his name attached to a post on a web board or usenet, and the only references to him are when quoting his book.
As I said, just curious...
Brian
Brian:
Go down this board a ways and find this message:
Re: Steam Locomotives in Colombus, NJ
To the best of my knowledge, ALCO c/n 59957, formerly displayed at Columbus, NJ is displayed in front of the Aero-Train Hobby House, 12 Station Ave. (off White Horse Pike) Absecon, NJ.

Sho' nuff...
Maybe I need to spend more time on the web and not try to catch up on everything all at once every week or two. Details like that tend to slip by.
