For any origination that is eligible to acquire Federal Surplus Property for donation through GSAXcess there is presently a 50-ton Capacity Crawler crane available at Omaha, NE appears to good condition. May be useful at a Railroad Museum. Dennis Daugherty |

Crane is still listed on GSAXcess your organization must have access to GSAXcess with login codes and passwords. One request is listed but multiple requests can be summited then Federal GSA makes a decision who gets it. |

It may have changed but in order to get DoD surplus donated, I had to go through a State surplus representative in order to establish credentials for the non-profit. Once through that hurdle, authorized personnel can set up alerts for desired items or just browse the lists. You will be competing against Federal/State agencies, other Countries, Tribes, other non-profits, etc. You will have a crack at "free" stuff before it goes out for auction and you're competing against the rest of the planet. Tons of stuff finds new homes and never makes it to auction. |
