A friend sent me this information.
A local railway, a farmer owned grain hauler called the Boundry Trail Railway Co.: https://btrc.ca/
... hauled the former Canadian Pacific Railways La Riviere station to Manitou and will use it as its general offices.
Here is a short story on the station:

La Riviere is to the west of Manitou.
Nice to see the building saved.

A little more on the building:

Here are a couple of pics my friend sent.
I saw the station a couple of months back. It had been moved to a secure site pending preparation of its permanent home in Manitou.

Thanks for sharing the good news with us. That building really is classic.

Wonderful save! Congrats to the Boundry Trail Railway Company and its owners. I must admit that I had never heard of this railroad previously, but I checked their website and there appears to be at least one photo of a bay window caboose. Perhaps used on some back up moves? One thing I am not completely sure of with the move, is whether the one-story freight "wing" was included in the save. The pictures did not make that clear. But really heartwarming to see that the historic structure will be utilized in the future.
