I have an A62-453 General Railway Signal motor operated timing relay but other than the information on the tags on the relay itself I can’t find any additional information on them. None of the Alstrom or Siemens literature I’ve found on the internet covers the timing relays. Any information you can provide or ideas of where else to look would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

John Engen

Shelf mount or plug-in type?

It’s a B2 plug-in but not included in any of the material from Alstrom or Siemens on B vital relays.

Join the Railroad Signaling group on Facebook. Most of the very knowledgeable people about relays are there now.

Also peruse Zach's website and see if there are any documents there on the timer. http://rrsignalpix.com/

On Zach's web site, on the Signal Documents page, just short of the very bottom of the page, look at the PDF at the "GRS Section 62, Type B Relays, Plug-In Type" link. On page 16 of that PDF, the specific relay is listed, giving a bit of information about that relay.

Hope that helps.
