I was recently looking for train rides I haven’t been on and was surprised to see no train rides offered in the state of Idaho. Several restored station museums (including the beautiful UP station in Idaho which I have visited) but no operating steam and no train rides outside of the railroad at Silverwood theme park.

Is there a location that would be suitable for an “Idaho State Railroad Museum” (not necessarily state run... just a generic name for what I’m thinking of” - perhaps an old roundhouse, or yard ready for a new life?
