A group of us are in the very early stages of drafting a restoration plan for a Southern Pacific chair car. I've got the SP Volume 1 book which gives some good information on the car. I wanted to see if anyone else has any other valuable information they can provide on 60-CC-2 cars?

The Pullman Library at Illinois Railway Museum should have the Pullman file copy of the order with specifications. These are filed by Lot number and - the last I knew - machine copies can be obtained at a per page fee.

If there are Pullman drawings for the car they should be listed in this document and there is a good chance that the collection at IRM will include these drawings. Apply to the Pullman Library at IRM as to reproduction fees.

Similarly, SP drawings specified should also be listed in the specifications.
