Cheers to everyone who helped get #1309 back up and running again!!! {insert beer smiley here}

Over the years, before ties became passé; my Mom, sister and wife all answered the question:

"Does this go".

If you were in Pennsylvania:
"Does this go wit?"

The Pacific NW, as well. Nothing drives me nuts faster than someone saying, "You want me to come with?"
Come with what, I'd ask, a side of fries or a large Coke?
I weaned everyone I know from this abomination of the English language by adding what I think with ended with, and then going with that as if they committed to something they certainly never intended. Trust me, they'll stop doing it quickly once you do that to them a few times!

However, "wit" would be recognizable more in "dutchie" areas.

The "wit" is probably related to "mit" ("with" auf Deutsch). During my own years in Germany I recall hearing one local ask another, "Kommst du mit?" (Coming with?)
