Does anyone know what became of OWLX 1024? It was ex CP 1024 slug ex CP 1275 SW1200RSu nee 8130 SW1200RS.

Ohio Locomotive was rebuilding it to a powered unit (photo shows it stripped down to frame and cab), supposedly for SAVAGE.

On their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/ohiolocomotiveworks Ohio Locomotive Works were asked three years ago "why did you guys close up shop?" and they responded "Lots of reasons. Mostly we were trying to sell highly efficient locomotives at the same time fuel prices were at rock bottom. Not great for demand." They are still apparently parting out units (I believe the new roof for the ex-Santa Fe PA in Texas came from a derelict FPA4 there a few months ago) but I have no clue what happened to the SW unit that they were in the process of converting into something "highly efficient".

The roof for the PA in TX came from ex-CN #6767 at the CVSR, which sat for years at Fitzwater yard as a parts donor for the rest of the ALCo cab fleet.
