Hi I was very impressed by both videos, the person in both videos knew what they were saying and made it easy to understand on what problems lie ahead in order to bring the boiler up to current codes. As for the frame video, they have there problems there that must be addressed, as well as spring rigging, to the trailing truck. Hopefully all issues will be addressed and fixed, Pat. |

I'd come across historic PRR technical information that stated the K4s class minimum curvature in forward was 14 degree, and in reverse 12 degree, and while accepted in fact (and explaining some incidents) I never quite understood why the trailing truck design could contribute to that, and this was just an excellent explanation of that issue. |

I think it's worth saying that the industry is fortunate to have this new outfit out there doing a first rate job in the historic restoration field. Lord knows we don't have many professionally run organizations in this field and having this new one surface comprised of the proven professionals that make up its leadership is an important development.
