Having much trouble getting a direct link to the Flying Scotsman image. Its a nice color cutaway with a big glossary.

Try Googling .. brightontoymuseum.co.uk flying Scotsman .. Click on the first link, then click the Flying Scotsman locomotive in the first sentence, and scroll down a little.

I am currently working on a Nickle Plate 2-8-4 chart. It should be done in a week or so.

I found a Baldwin Locomotive Valve Motion Chart on the Kansas Memory website. It identifies the parts of Walschaerts valve gear and Stephenson valve gear.

I started studying Steam Locomotives as a child from an Encyclopedia Britannica; I wish I still had it as my Parents gave them away.

It was as detailed as the Texaco one but a little easier to read.
