viewtopic.php?f=1&t=44846

Until yesterday I was not aware of these Philadelphia & Reading RR 4-4-0 class D11s built by Baldwin.
Is it possible that this class was one of the largest 4-4-0 ever made? I have only access to
Baldwin data so I am not aware of ALCO or other manufacturers.

Here the data I found so far:

Axle loading per driving axle: 61.000lbs

Cylinders: 21"x24"
Boiler pressure: 210psi
Driver diameter: 68"
Tractive effort: 27.500lbs

fuel: anthracite coal 21.000lbs
water: 7.000gal
