So what's the story on these? I gave Richard's contact information to some folks and they say he was rude on the phone when they called. Something about not wanting to be called at 7:30. A time zone difference I think.

I would presume he doesn't really want to get the cabeese to a new home, then--and/or is in some form of denial about the (alleged) situation he's (allegedly) in..

Not the first time we've confronted this kind of situation; won't be the last, either, sadly.

So how did this play out? It's the end of the month, did they get moved or saved or something else?

I'd be a player with more time.

Attached is screen grab of ARCHES contact page. Italics are original to the page. Looks like Tom Smykowski's "Jump to Conclusions" game may be enjoying a resurgence during the COVID stay at home era.

If--as alleged--he/"they" only have/had two weeks to find a savior, you take the bloody calls no matter your personal preference for business hours.

If a person cares more about their personal schedule convenience than an outright preservation emergency that is their responsibility to mitigate.......

I'm quite willing to wager that this person's phone is not "ringing off the hook" with constant inquiries. (Boy, that's a dated cliché now.)

It's 1995, get an answering machine.

In 2020 you have voicemail, probably whether you want it or not.

But only if your voicemail isn’t full....

Two left St. Louis today. The two shorter cabooses went by flatbed trucks up hwy 61. I spotted them just south of Moscow Mills NB, destination unknown. Iowans, keep an eye out!

I did see one of the caboose was of the 500 series. I was a bit caught off guard on the first one to catch the number on it. When the second went by, I made note of the 5xx number. Want to say 553 or 556....
