Crown Zellerbach had a 3 foot gauge road at their Camas, WA paper mill. Three of the electric locos went to a museum in Wisconsin. Does anyone know which museum and what happened to them? Here is what I have:

A colleague confirms the locomotives are at the Colfax Railroad Museum in Wisconsin.

You are partially correct. Numbers 6 & 7 are at the Colfax Railroad Museum, Colfax, WI. We really appreciate the construction info. We had not been able to locate that data. Our website is: www.colfaxrrmuseum.org

There may be a bit of fuzzy memory involved here. Many years ago, Mike Schlag said the 1930s era locomotive and line car (unpowered work car) were sold to a Roy Rehmke in the Sacramento area. His name is associated with a rubber company in Manteca.

While we're on this subject, does anyone know what happened to the builder's plates for #6&7? We would like to locate those for our restoration effort. Lacking that. Were they cast or stamped steel? And any source available for reproduction of them?

When the trolley museum moved to Brooks the four narrow gauge locos were disposed of.

Three of us visited the Camas mill in 1982. All of the wire was down and most of the equipment was setting in the yard. The only thing moving was the Plymouth which was being used to switch flat cars into loading bays in the buildings. These were then decked over to provide floor space. It is possible that these cars are still there.
