So I think I may finally have this figured out with the yellows. That sand car is painted the exact same pale creamy yellowish ivory color as the stations and other structures, and that color is DuPont 1222...

Apparently, after I had photographed #3671 and the Reading-based relief train along the crossline here in Cleona, it ended up being parked over at Rutherford for a spell. If you want to see all three Reading yellows so far in one spot, well, here they are... LOL

I'm not sure I mentioned this the last time when we were looking at the Reading's structures but 93-1222 is also known as "Croydon Cream". This ex-Chicago Transit Authority unit is painted in the second streetcar scheme we've seen with this color...

Croydon Cream is also a vintage Harley-Davidson color as demonstrated here on this 1936 EL...

That might be the first and only bike to make it into this thread as an alternative example, Phil, so here's another with an equal level of class or perhaps even a bit more with the saddlebag strapped to the side. LOL That "Venetian Blue" looks a lot like Chevy Export Blue or, if you're an NYC guy, Opex Blue...

The more samples I collect, the more I'm beginning to realize there are at least two distinct versions of DuPont 3430 Blue so we'll be taking another closer look at that later since it is the New York Central's Opex Blue and possibly the Reading's Crusader blue, not to mention a very popular fleet color overall. I recently picked up a 1968 Dodge Truck Special Paint Colors fan deck so we'll be able to glean a few more Ditzler/PPG numbers from that. Export Blue and Croydon Cream really is a stunningly elegant and classy color combination, especially if you see it first-hand...

Chrysler DT2009 appears to be a excellent match for Croydon Cream but, as we've seen already, these creams can drift a bit as well. Here's the PaintRef entry for that one... https://paintref.com/cgi-bin/paintdetai ... ode=DT2009 Ditzler/PPG tends to spell Croydon with an "e" in place of the second "o" as in "Croyden". Lunar Yellow was also a GMC motor home color back in the seventies as General Motors WE5928... http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/paintdetail ... ode=WE5928 Instead of a creamy-type off-yellow, it's more of a pale clean yellow like a lighter version of Lemon Yellow. It does seem to work well with 1317 Green like the bolder yellow on the locomotives...

I guess I'm no longer anonymous now. Yeah, you can tell I'm a member of the slightly older generation since I can take a selfie without having my mouth gaping wide open. ;) Being a Chrysler guy, I'm a bit more partial to old Travcos but these GMC's have their appeal.
