That is quite an elaborate railroad layout with tracks, locomotives, rolling stock all laid out and resting in the bottom of a submerged quarry. It is also surprisingly accessible to divers.

As for Zebra Mussels, someone who didn't clean their gear properly brought the critters to Dutch Springs along the Lehigh & New England, now Norfolk Southern, near Hecktown, Pa. I helped them add an ex-S.E.P.T.A. Kansas City PCC car to their sunken inventory. (Hecktown is on the other side of Bethlehem from Hellertown, closer to Nazareth.)
The Willow Springs Park in Millardsville, Pa. flooded about 1930, has a shorter railroad, and more recently, an ex New Haven RR ConRail caboose.

So...the proverbial steam locomotive sunken in the old quarry isn't a myth. How 'bout that.

I'd be very cautious posting articles about locomotives in quarries.
