Jim Shaughnessy photo and negative collection,?

Hi All
I was just wondering what happen to Jim Shaughnessy photo and negative collection after he passed away last August 2018. As we all Jim was a great photojournalist of Steam.
His photos did appear in countless railroad publications, as well as books, etc, so where did his photo, negative and slide collection end up. Did it go to his family, or is it retained by a museum or a close friend of Mr. Shaughnessy?
