Was doing a bit of research on Horse-Drawn Trolleys and these are the only one's that I have been able to find still operating... wondering if anyone knows of any others?

Disney World's Magic Kingdom - Main Street. - Daily
Disneyland - Main Street. - Daily
Disneyland Paris - Main Street. - Daily

Douglas Bay Horse Tram - Island of Mann (future is uncertain but still operating for now).
Daily during Summer Season.

Victor Harbor Tramway - Australia (currently not operating, planned to reopen.)
Daily.

Dobeln Tramway - Germany - Operates as part of a museum once a month.

Crescent-Zephyr:

I think the organization called the "Society for the Preservation of Carter Railroad Resources" in California operated a narrow gauge horse drawn car at one time. Not sure if this was an actual horsecar (trolley) or not, and not sure if that operation is still being done at the present time.

I should really let Randy Hees answer this, but it was a period railroad freight car, Replicating the horse drawn switching once done on the line. Not exactly the same thing.

And I have to pick a nit with the title. They can't be "trolleys" if they don't run under wire, since the name was derived from the early current collection device. Of course, by the same token those stinky diesel powered rubber tited fake streetcars aren't "trolleys" either. The proper name is horsecar, or mulecar, depending on the motive power, and the whole operation was most often described as a horse drawn street railway. Searching those terms might bring more results.

Weren't horses used to pull the trolleys uphill on part of the Richmond line when it first opened?

Yes indeed Dennis, my bad! Funnily enough on my last trip to Disneyland I noticed the conductors properly saying “welcome aboard the horse-drawn Streetcar.”

But if there can be such a thing as a “horseless carriage” in the world, why not a horse-drawn trolley as well?

I recall seeing a picture of a Horsecar with the "power unit" on the back porch for the trip DOWN the hill.

A "carriage" is anything that carries anything else. The term doesn't apply only to horse drawn wheeled vehicles.

Yeah that’s the point I was trying to make... a horseless carriage would just be a carriage, or a motorized carriage. Yet the term horseless carriage is a thing!

Of course in the uk if you ask for a horse drawn trolley they might tell you to cut down your grocery list!

Sounds like this one I found preserved in Englewood (Denver, CO) back in April 1983......

Horse duly enjoying the ride from the back platform!

Don't know whether the car is still preserved in the open there, or it has gone elsewhere since I took the photo.

Another example is the Ontario & San Antonio Heights Railroad in California. The platform could be folded down and stowed underneath the car when going uphill.

A variant was the One Man & A Mule Railroad that transported Mt. Lowe passengers to Inspiration Point, about a mile away. In this case the mule pushed the car, the idea being to keep dust off of the passengers.

Many thanks for providing that link. Glad it's now stored under cover.
