I have no connection to this, just something I ran across.

That says something. I have visited Beaverton a few times and never ran across any mention of this equipment. We may never know the exact count of steam locomotives in America. Thanks for sharing!

I think the collection being auctioned came from northern California.
At least the steam locomotive which was once owned by the gentleman who had the O-gauge "South Shasta Lines" at Gerber, CA.

Yeah, I heard about it through the Engineers and Engines Magazine. Considering bidding on the little engine and one of the traction engines myself, but alas, I am too young.
