The firebox with be delivered as an assembly w/o the syphons, which Steamtown will install.

We performed Form 4 calculations on #3713 several years ago.

Nothing has been done with the new freight cars yet.

#89's wheel centers are steel, and the hub liners are abraision resisting steel, held in place by countersunk bolts, threaded into the wheel centers and welded to the hub liners to insure that they don't back out.

#20's boiler is in place for it's first test fitting. This helps us get the furnace bearers, waist sheets, and ashpan lined up, and helps to work out details.






Here is the new rear furnace bearer, mounted and adjusted to center the firebox between the rear drivers.


The dog bone shaped firebox side furnace bearers and their support pins were in bad shape. Replacements are being made for these parts.


The new pin and it's mounting plate are in position on the side of the firebox.
