Here's a one-minute video featuring mostly interior views of Rome, NY's New York Central era (built 1912) Amtrak station: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6L71iaSyais The station's preservation is a testament to good stewardship by the City of Rome, its owner since 1988. Six daily Amtrak trains stop here. Recent structural damage resulted in the station's closure for 5 months but it re-opened a few weeks ago. Very nicely done! Good for Rome. Now if they can keep the "homeless" away. Ned |
