Valley Railroad Company/Essex Steam Train & Riverboat is currently hiring steam engineers and firemen, diesel engineers, Trainmen and Conductors. Located in the beautiful Connecticut River Valley, we operate one of the premier Scenic Tourist Railroads with Riverboat Connections.

VRR Currently has two, soon to be three, operating steam locomotives, as well as three GE 80 Tonners. This year, our North Pole Express will be utilizing three steam-powered train sets.
