It's amazing that they could immediately tell what locomotive it is and where it's at with no clues at all. Well, other than the number on the sand dome...

I seem to recall that the park at Oro Grande had oversize playground equipment, a military vehicle and the locomotive. After a child fell from one of the oversize swings, got injured, and a suit by the parents, the County's attorney recommended to the local park and recreation district that all of these be replaced by conventional playground equipment. Both Orange Empire and a military vehicle collector each made contributions to the park district for the new playground equipment in return for being able to remove the items of their interest.

The asbestos had been removed prior to the incident and the acquisition of the locomotive by OERM.

Neat locomotive...upgraded with a disc main driver and also having a modern trailing truck.
A number of the UP Mikes were used as passenger helpers and likely this is why the upgrade of the disc.

That's not a Disk main - it's a Boxpok. The Baldwin Disk was a different animal, and there were two different Disks, one with a middle 'rib' on the spokes and one without, but both had a raised rim around each opening. Baldwin also made it's own version of the Boxpok, but it had back-face webs with smaller round holes in the web that make it look quite different from proprietary GSC Boxpoks.
