I believe these are the units owned by the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society. Please see the following link for more information: https://fortwaynerailroad.org/2022/03/n ... ent-saved/ |

Some parts have already gone to other organizations/museums with projects in need. Long-term plans for the bodies and more mechanically complete units TBD. We just don't have the space at our current facility for storage. |

Wheeling and Lake Erie wood Office Car #03 apparently has finally arrived at the Colebrookdale Railroad this past November 30: https://www.facebook.com/CharlesJAdamsI ... peu8baZF8l "I first encountered this rather unusual load pulled off of eastbound Route 422 in the morning. Couldn't take a close enough look at it as I passed it. Lo and behold, later in the day, returning from a destination on the eastern end of the county, I had a hunch where what I saw earlier might have been bound. And, bingo! I detoured a bit to and beyond the yards of the Colebrookdale Railroad - The Secret Valley Line in Boyertown and found it, still shrouded in mystery! Obviously, it's another railcar that will be restored and placed into service someday on that most magnificent line!" Charlie Adams, two photos. In one of the comments: "Wheeling and Lake Erie car 03, the Huron, donated by the City of Noblesville, Indiana, by way of the Indiana Transportation Museum, to the Colebrookdale Railroad. We accepted the car to save it from scrapping."
