Hi,

I was chasing trains around north-central Illinois today and found this abandoned Pullman dining car in Peru-LaSalle. I did a little research on it but didn't come up with much other than one source saying it was used as a restaurant for a few years. I'm guessing that it's ex-Rock Island because it's only a few feet from the former right-of-way but I don't know for sure. Any info on this car would be much appreciated!

I grew up around 35 miles from there, I asked on Facebook and was told "It served as a lunch room/locker room for the engine facility nearby." I think they mean the Rock Island engine house that remained open until the end of the Rock Island, so it was probably a RI car originally.
