| Post subject: | Age of Steam Roundhouse Non-Group Tours on Saturday, June 9 |
The Age of Steam Roundhouse is pleased to announce that it will host a NON-GROUP TOUR DAY on Saturday, June 9, 2018. Guided tours for individuals and smaller groups will be offered at 10:00 am, 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm. AoSRH tours are usually available only to large groups of 30 or more people. However, since not everyone is a member of a group, Non-Group Tour Day will allow individuals and smaller groups to visit, tour and photograph the beautiful Age of Steam Roundhouse. These guided tours will be the same tour normally offered to large groups. Parties interested in AoSRH's Non-Group Tour Day will be required to pre-register just as large groups must do. Please use the Contact Us link on the AoSRH website (http://www.ageofsteamroundhouse.com) to provide us with your contact information, including your preferred tour time for June 9. We will respond via email with confirmation and other information that all tour-takers must read, including liability releases that everyone must sign prior to entry. All requests for tour times will be answered in the order in which they are received. First come, first served. This will be our first attempt at tours for individuals, families and small groups. If successful, we shall do it again later this summer. We hope to see you on Saturday, June 9, 2018 for Age of Steam Roundhouse's first Non-Group Tour Day. Sign up now! Thanks very much. Be safe. Age of Steam Roundhouse is not accepting any additional reservations for its June 9, 2018, "Non-Group Tour Day." We were swamped with requests for scheduled, non-group tours, and cannot accept any additional requests. We will attempt to schedule tours for as many people as possible who have already e-mailed their requests to us for non-group tours on June 9th. We plan to have a computer program handle such reservations next year, but could not implement such software this year due to time and manpower restrictions. So, we went ahead and scheduled reservations for tours via e-mail so that people would not have to wait until next year to visit AoSRH. As stated in my prior post on RYPN, we will have to determine if we can have another "Non-Group Tour Day" during 2018. Watch this space. Be safe. John B. So glad to hear there'll be such tours and I hope someday to be in the general area to take part in seeing the dream come to life, in person! This is a great thing that you're doing here. |

Please check your emails - I've been trying to arrange a tour with my Corvette club but both emails have gone unanswered. We would like to visit but w/o any replies from you, this is becoming more difficult than it should be. Thank you. |
