Roll sign looks like it starts with 46th? 48th?

I enlarged and shaded the sign. Looks like 45th to me but the file size is small.
The owner of this photo should be able to do a better job of enhancement and probably read it. Old originals like this have a lot of resolution.

Gents -

How about the badges on the caps of the motorman and conductor? Might not be able to enlarge enough to read them, but might be able to see enough hints that a collector might be able to identify them.

It's a Kansas City Public Service (or I suppose its predecessor, the Metropolitan Street Railway) 600-series car. I'd need to track down who built these cars and when - it has a Brownell look but may be SLCC - but a photo of a member of this series later in its life is here:

Edit: these cars were indeed built by Brownell in 1900 and ran for some 50 years.

Thanks Frank!
The OP also replied on Facebook saying the roll sign is 45th & Harrison and did her own research to discover the car is from Kansas City. She was not able to ID the cap badges.

If you can figure that shop, you've got an exact location.
