I'm sure many people have been salivating at the prospects of a drone flyover of the famous "Railfans Not Permitted Or Wanted" Escanaba & Lake Superior shops in Wells, Michigan ever since good drones have become readily available.

Lance R. Myers (of the "AltoonaWorks" website and Facebook page) has finally obliged with this Flickr album:

As it turns out, I was up in the area at almost the exact same time on family business, got wind that he was in the area, and just left the visitation to someone with a drone and the ability to use it........

Let the speculation and "They Gotta Save That!" rants begin...................

Look like your friend was not the first drone pilot above Wells, MI yard:

And to all the people who want to preserve that, that and that....

....just wait....

....the nature will solve that like it did with the Kepner collection.

The Second Law of Thermodynamics clearly at work there. More than a little sad.

Barrage balloons to be deployed around the perimeter in 3...2...1...

The "good stuff" is supposedly in the huge former crane factory building nearby.
