We've briefly looked into this, moving large wreckers. Without going into detail, and though still not inexpensive, you can move them over the road likely with four trailers - boom, cab, frame and trucks. Rail is the only other option - special movement applies, probably two locomotives for braking, high insurance premium but possible. Agreed that the cost may not be for the faint of heart. |

That's a mighty nice looking crane to wind up as scrap. The scary thing is that they appear to have two other cranes in far worse shape. |
