I ran across photos of the West Coast Railway Heritage Park in Squamish, BC. After some research it appears that the roundhouse and turntable pit are new (and recent) construction, built in a location were none existed before. The fact that the turntable is riveted seems to indicate that it is much older and lived somewhere else previously. Does anyone have more information on this turntable?

You are correct that the turntable was moved to this site from elsewhere. Here is what I have on it:

2005 – The West Coast Railway Heritage Park in Squamish, BC, reported received full funding for its $4 million Roundhouse and Conference Centre, which will include a seven-stall roundhouse and the 85’ turntable from Thunder Bay. In their Sept 2006 newsletter its pit was reported under construction. Completion was scheduled for late 2006. As of March 2009 the pit and its ring rail was completed and the roundhouse under construction, but the turntable was not in place. A new completion date is late 2009.

2010 - The West Coast Railway Heritage Park in Squamish, BC, installed its 85’ turntable from Thunder Bay, ON. Construction has begun on their eight-stall roundhouse.

Any info on who built the turntable and when would be appreciated.
