Posted in the Classifieds ads was an auction that ends tomorrow for a bunch of items.
Of them, most interesting to me is the car CCCX 568. This looks like an early GATX 1920 era tank car. It says it is 9611 gallons, and it has a smaller dome than other cars I have seen of this style.
If I understand correctly, CCCX stands for Coca Cola.

With a pair of trucks and repairs or replacement to the brakes, you would have a good car for any line, and perhaps one with an interesting paint job. I suppose it was for hauling syrup to the bottle plants that used to be around all over the place.

The other items have some value, if you want to have a boxcar with full height ladders, add trucks, fix the roof, and add a roofwalk. The remains of an ex Rock Island Capone coach might give you some gate hardware if needed.
Good luck.

CCCX - Carondelet Coke Corporation

From an 1980s operation permit:
"The Carondelet Coke Corporation of St.Louis, MO is in the Iron and Steel Manufacturing
category and produces metallurgical coke (SIC 3312)."
