The black and white builder's photo of 4501 is relatively ubiquitous. If it is actually a color photo and anyone has a very high resolution version suitable for a large print, perhaps they ought to get in touch with the Museum of the American Railroad in Frisco, TX, who now own the locomotive. It might make a nice addition to their collection. |

Here is a picture of one of their flue sheets getting cut out on a waterjet machine. They posted lots of photos of the process on their FB page. |

All high tech and doesn't warp or harm the sheet. Its all because of the precision half tennis ball on the nozzle. I had a link block for 1522 waterjet cut and all I had to do was polish the surfaces to fit it up. |

The BLW color image of Frisco #4501 is a TRUE photographic image taken on sheet film. It resides in a private collection and I'm not at liberty to say who owns it. Kevin K. |
