Meghan: yes you saw the same movie I did. Let's hope the sequel doesn't end the same way. By the way, the food in the station is better than the last 2 or 3 establishments that tried to make a go in it.

When I saw the opening photo, I thought that they are right over the tracks where all of those ping pong passenger cars are stored and one caboose. Now keep in mind that it has been four years since I was there on business. So I was surprised to see those cars are all gone. And here they are putting stuff back on the tracks again. What happened to the caboose that was there (an N6b if I recall)?

Mr. Ed, I believe the caboose that had been there suffered a fire many years ago. Roof had been collapsing for some time. It was demolished when the ping pong cars were scrapped.

I too agree with others and I hope the new caboose display fares much better than the previous equipment.

Thanks for the reply. I do believe that when we went to look at the caboose, there was a homeless guy living in there, so we just looked at it from a distance.

Do you know what they did with the remnants of the caboose?
