 Post subject: WP&Y - 190 and 250 (K-28) Class Initial Service Dates

These are the dates of first service I could note from each engine after searching through the Engine House Records at the Yukon Archives. The hand writing made it difficult to make out a few of the names, and if you are aware I would be happy to take corrections on any errors that you find.

Any D&RGW fans should note the delay in time between the 252 and 253 entering service. The 253 fell off a barge while in Haines, Alaska (15 miles from Skagway) and was recovered shortly after. I wish I could see some pictures of that! I imagine if this happened on the southbound journey, it may have been left down there much longer if it didn't interfere with ship traffic.
