Preliminary reports I have received do indeed indicate a sale to CN. No clue on the planned renumbering/renaming (if applicable).

Plus a correction for my earlier December post regarding ownership of the Ocean View. In 2019 it was resold by Amtrak at auction, not to Passenger Railcar Services Corp. (PAXX) as previously reported, but to "Railexco".

You had it right the first time.

PAXX sold the car to Railexco after it went to WMSR. Railexco sold the car recently to the mystery Class I.

GN 1199 Winnipeg Club. I have a nice photo of the car in a Duluth scrapyard, which doesn't neccessarily say it was scrapped.
