So it looks like one of those lubrication lines blew the jacket off the cylinder body. Since we continued, the line must have been crimped or shut off because a repair wouldn't have been easy on the road. There must have been enough lubricant supplied by the other line to prevent scoring.

Ron Ziel's tank engine was never at Gold Coast. It is presently at the Florida Railroad Museum in Parrish, and has been kicking around that area for at least the past 40 years.

Okay, it's all Florida. Any idea of the condition of the little tanker? I'd love to see BEDT #12 run someday. She's oil fired, too.

The location is Florida GULF Coast Museum in Willow, Florida, aka Florida Railroad Museum in Parrish, FL. I read the location listing as "Gold Coast" the first time as well.
