This is a great video. Some adult language. While focused on freight, there is certainly some relevance to FRA interface for heritage ops. Stick with it to the end for some steam action.

Thanks for the recommendation! This is a great segment and John Oliver and LWT does great work highlighting problems in the modern world. Just about all of it is totally true, if somewhat simplified for a general audience to understand.

Nearly thirty minutes of intelligent critique of the problems of Hunter Harrison's precision railroading and the inherent risks to humanity, with relevant humor and fun, are really important to communicating the current problems of corporate railroading. John Oliver also recognizes the natural interest and positive experience of trains in general, which is key to railway preservation.

Agree with all of the above. I really appreciate John Oliver taking the time and interest in this subject which is familiar to many of us but probably pretty obscure to most of his viewers
