Does any one know where information regarding ozone treated water and its possible detrimental effects on carbon steel boiler tubes may be found?<p>G. Mark Ray, TVRM<br>

Ozone is normally used in wastewater or water treatment to kill off any bacteria/microbes that have made it thru the treat process. When used it usually replaces chlorination as a means of disinfection.<p>Other than a very slight increase in the dissolved oxygen content (more rust potential) this process will not change any alkalinity problems (scaling) or other mineral problems that might be present in your water supply. <br>
